× More about us
"Zdiisnyty mriiu" is a charity supporting and helping socially unprotected groups of the Ukrainian population.
The charity was founded in the summer of 2019; however, its first projects already took effect at the beginning of the said year. The team was formed by four concerned volunteers willing to provide support for people's needs. The founders of the Charity "Blahodiinyi fond 'Zdiisnyty mriiu'" are:
- Oksana Yakymiv, an entrepreneur;
- Andrii Vytrykush, a volunteer of the Ukrainian volunteer army;
- Ihor Moiseienko, an IT specialist;
- Uliana Flyshko, a journalist.
During the time of its activity, the Charity "Zdiisnyty mriiu" was able to realize more than 100 diverse and extensive projects. They include:
"Pidruchnyk" (collection and transfer of Ukrainian books to children of the Ukrainian diaspora in countries of Europe);
"Zihriti dobrom" (support of children of the participants of ATO/JFO);
"Reabilitatsiia zakordonom" (in cooperation with the Ukrainian diaspora in Italy, Poland, Georgia, Germany, Spain, Croatia, the foundation organized a trip abroad for more than 200 children of the defenders of Ukraine);
Fotoproject "ETNOfotosesii by Svitlana Lysceva" along with the Charity "Zdiisnyty mriiu" organized a unique photo shoot involving 20 children of the Heroes of ATO. The children in the photos were wearing national costumes of Ukraine, demonstrating to the world just how captivating and vibrant our culture and traditions are. This very culture is what the Ukrainian soldiers protected with their own spit and blood, risking their health and even life while fighting in the east of our country. The photo project has already seen light in Georgia, Poland, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Spain, England, Ireland, and other countries.
In addition to helping children belonging to the social categories of:
- orphans,
- children deprived of parental care,
- children from low-income families,
- children with severe illnesses,
volunteers of the Charity "Zdiisnyty mriiu", of whom there are over 100 and counting in the Lviv Oblast, are helping to realize projects aimed at supporting the elderly, solitary citizens, and people with serious illnesses.
In 2021 alone, even considering the COVID-19 crisis, the volunteers were able to make the dreams of thousands of people from Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Sumy, and Kyiv Oblasts come true.
Using the funds donated to the Charity "Zdiisnyty Mriiu", we directed over 500 000 UAH for the treatment of sick children and adult citizens.
The year 2022 started as usual helping those in need who we are taking care. There are more than 200 people under permanent care from our charity (mostly large families, solitary citizens, and people with serious illnesses).
But the situation changed during the full-scale invasion of the Ukrainian state by russia. On the 24th of February 2022, we began receiving the first humanitarian aid parcels from our foreign partners. It was the first aid for the army of Ukraine. Pocket radios, wound dressing, medication, and comestibles were sent in five buses by representatives of the Ukrainian community from the German city of Erfurt.
Of course, we were helped in the process. The first person to help us was Daniil Menshykov, the head of Lviv customs, where he participated in establishing the Humanitarian headquarters. The Charity "Zdiisnyty Mriiu" joined the establishment. This cooperation gave us the ability to move humanitarian aid to Ukraine, specifically the city of Lviv, as quickly as possible. Here in the repository of the Lviv customs we are still procuring and delivering aid from abroad to the needed areas of Ukraine.
In the first 2 months of the war, we have
- received and handed over almost 1000 tonnes of humanitarian baggage,
- responded to over 250 requests from representatives of numerous Oblasts of our country.
Specifically, we were able to provide
- over 400 tonnes of comestibles,
- more than 250 tonnes of medication and medical equipment,
- 200 tonnes of hygiene products and household chemicals,
- and the rest as military items.
We are still continuing our activity. Recently we have created an office of the Charity "Zdiisnyty mriiu" in the Republic of Poland. Our representatives work as volunteers in Przemysl, Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Opole, and Gdansk.
